Why i don't watch the new's

So i was sitting at the lunch table at work on my break and i picked up the new's paper and the first article i seen was a story about a man who took off his shoes and jumped off a bridge leaving his body for anyone to find. Now i am a firm believer that suicide is the cowards way out and the pure fact that he left it so even a 8 year old could find his body disgusted me and the news made this big sad pathetic attempt of makin the event happy and when some poor girl found this body and tell's the news paper that she is permanitly scared over it the news turned it into a joy's occasion that she found it and he did it.

Now the rest of the news wasnt much better, it included stories of guy's killing children and people killing people and more suicides but there was a little 4 line article about some one's birthday, and that reminded me why i don't watch the new's, and htats the simple fact that there is hardly any good new's anymore the media focuses around death and misery and hardly anything up beat anymore, it would be nice to turn on the news and feel good about the world for a change, instead of turning it on and wanting to join thousands commiting suicide a month or thousands killing people a month what the hell is wrong with our society.

UFC 100

So after watching a one hell of a fight night i was happy to see the fighters i wanted to win, seeing Henderson knock out and shut bispings mouth was spectacular, easily one of the brutalist knock outs ive ever seen. The GSP Alves fight was a bit dissapointing i expect alot more outta both fighters i've seen the potential they both have and it didnt seem to show in the fight, besides alves stupidity and walking into gsp and getting takin down, i mean come on 8 + times in a fight?? that was a disgrace and easily alve's worst performance as a MMA fighter. And of course the main event and grudge match between brock lesnar and frank mir, and sure enough it didnt dissapoint, after a first and 2nd round complete and utter beatdown of mir the ref finally stopped the fight after mir was getting his head pounded into the fence by lesnar. Then in true WWE faction lesnar makes a scene and easily discraes the UFC and everything it stands for, showing no respect for sponsors or for the fans, but this isnto a scripted show and as it sits now i dont see anyone in the near future who is gonna be able to handle lesnar.

There is big talk of a russian fighter in affliction named Fedor Emelianenko who every one is saying is the best pound for pound heavy weight in the world and after watching a few of his fights i don't see much of a challenge for brock, granted brock has little to no boxing or jiu jitsu or any real form of martial arts besides wrestling, what he does have is power and alot of it, watch any of his fights and see that all of them involve his opponents on there backs getting man handled, mir made the mistake of focusing on trying to get a submission when it all reality we need a heavy weight who can stand toe to toe with him and avoid lesnars power and take downs.

Cheap SKate

I suppose one thing that has been getting under my skin alot lately is cheap skate here in town, for those who don't know it is a old school roller rink that was famouse for a child prostitution ring in the late 80's. As of lately it has been a haven for gang fights and random acts of violence, for the most part all that go there anymore are african american kids to be politically correct and teenage girls. The last big incident that was takin place there was when a local radio station called B96 that focus on rap/hip-hop went to cheap skate to do a live DJ show, needless to say the place was packed to its limit with kids sitting outside of the building waiting to get in, probably around midnight a mass amount of fights started between the black kids and a few white kids that eventually escilated into a mass brawl in and out of the roller rink.

It took 2 counties and about 40 squads to break up the fight's and in all wisedom sent the trouble makers home aka walking the streets, the parking lot and the rink and all the business's near by were covered with teenagers and cops they eventually hade to shut down the road due to the amount of people walking around. Now most people would see a massive problem with this, but i look at it in another way, there have been protests and bills to shut this place down, but it never gets shut down and probably for the best. Think about it if they shut this place down these kids will be walking the street doing god knows what to peoples property.

As of recent the action of the rink has slowed down cept for a recent multiple stabbing in wich no one was arrested or punished for, but the rate of crime has gone drastically high and me being a victim of random acts of burgalry and destruction of private property. THe police are more concerned with pulling over and no one who looks at them wrong instead of helping solve the problem, sad part is if you call the police the fire truck and ambulance will more likely show up 10 mins before the police.
